Miscellaneous Mental Musings of an Emerging Artist

Biked by the Apollo Theatre this morning, which has for a few years now been Chicago’s home for Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues (closing July 13th). Normally, the marquee includes the names of the three actresses performing the show at that time, but this morning, instead, was simply the phrase:

So, I don’t know what Nancy McKeon, Mindy Cohn, or what’s-her-name, the one who played Blair, are doing right now, but I can report that Kim Fields is closing the Chicago run of The Vagina Monologues. I wonder if I can get a job with E!

You take the good. You take the bad. You take them both, and . . . what do we have, class?

Current music: Flotation Device, Radiohead, “Idioteque”
